I love it because it's got a nice 6.4 V8 engine in it its not stupidity expensive like the AMG 6.3 or a BMW M3 and the Chrysler looks good outside and inside. Great work from SRT performance
@@Murderap Comparing a 2012 model car to a 2016, what a dope you are. C63s look like typical bland euro garbage too. Who gives a shit if it’s faster? Where are you gonna use it anyway?
Had mine for almost 3 years now. The engine gets better with age. The car itself is holding up beautifully. I live on a dirt road too, so it isn't being treated with kid gloves. After nearly 3 years it still brings a massive smile every time I get in it. Such an awesome piece of machinery.
I'm not a car expert but just got my brand new SRT Core a month ago and love driving it. Really feel the power and something different as you don't see many of them on the road. Great car!
My brother is the owner of the 2013 SRT8 ,and all i could say is this would be a huge upgrade,so many better features and etc! Personally i'm a Mercedes lover and would go for the C63 any day but one of my favorite things about the 300c is that it has a surround sound system in it,and if you're a music lover then you'll definitely enjoy cruising with this car. Downside would be the fuel consumption...It drinks the fuel like no other lol.
@4:19 The launch control doesn't work properly. You have the launch control engaged with the brakes applied but the car is still spinning it's tire. Hmmm...
We don't even understand that one. Build an American car with an American engine in America and then immediately export it to Australia and don't tell anyone. Not sure that will win any business idea of the year awards.
still pisses me off we never got this version of the srt8.. in the u.s. they stopped the 300 in the 2014 meaning we never got the 8spd + 392 version.. :(
So tempted but the Chrysler dealer network in Australia is terrible, all they want to sell is Jeep's, try finding a 2016 300 SRT to go and have a look at. Would be awesome to see what this can do in the dry.
I live in Canada. i own one of the last 2014 srt 300 black addition and you have no idea how PISSED OFF i am it isn't offered in North America. not to mention no 8 speed nor a hellcat option. not impressed!!!!
I love this SRT version of the 300, I do not like the complete blackout versions that are the only ones available here in the United States. This 300 is adorned in beautiful chrome and is how the 300 should look, it doesn’t look like a menacing muscle car in terms of looks, which is a good thing, but once you put your foot down it’s like a rocket! This is the perfect luxury muscle car!
I wish N America got it, I might replace my 2012 if we did. It sucks they still kneecap it with 245 rubber in back still, and the new rims look bad. the new seats, if the same as the Dodge line up are a excellent upgrade, as is the 8 speed auto and gauges/Uconnect graphics. other than the rims , great job on build, too bad I can't get one. HELLCAT IT, so I do t have to buy the hellcat charger or a CTS V.
Horsepower. However there is also PS(Pferdestarkes) the matric version of HP which is about 1h= 1.013869665 which is what most of the OEM Power figure came from
Got me stuffed, people don't know what they're missing, thought they would strike more of a cord in Australia, as large 6cyl/V8 family 4 door sedan's were so popular over here. our first choice after ford stop producing Falcon's, Awesome car I reckon. weight is no excuse when you look at the size/weight of SUV's getting around.
The 8 speed auto's shifting speed is awesome, but I honestly can't get over the dial shifter instead of a knob. This means I have to use the paddle shifters to change gears manually, and I'd rather use the shifter like in a real manual. Everything else in the car is absolutely golden though.
If you want a shifter like a real manual, probably buy something with a real manual. What’s the point in buying an auto to drive it like a manual? Sort of defeats the purpose.
I'm sure he launched it incorrectly, theres supposed to be no wheel spin. Also, this dude legit accelerated with full throttle on a wet road, not to say its impossible, but its a little dangerous.
not impressed with the interior at all. the only great thing I like is,the sound of the engine. they copy the grand cherokee jeep srt interior and paste it into the Chrysler 300 srt. not impressed with any of their design for 2016.
I like to think that I'm good at converting metric to imperial like But this KW shit messes me up. The numbers are always lower so it makes me think the vehicle isn't as powerful as it really is. And on a somewhat related note, newton mestres or foot pounds of torque are just that, units of torque. There are no such things as "torques." That's like saying something is "57 longs" as an example. It's "57 feet long. Or 57 metres long." Same goes for torque. You need to say what units you are using.
I love it because it's got a nice 6.4 V8 engine in it its not stupidity expensive like the AMG 6.3 or a BMW M3 and the Chrysler looks good outside and inside. Great work from SRT performance
You could get a 2012 C63 AMG for half the price, is faster, and looks better.
Nicks 92 videos what about sound system, interior, And the HUD.. ex. Do you think it's comparable compared to a 2016 of this model??

I actually prefer this over any BMW 5 series, Mercedes E-class etc.. simply because it got so much character. Well done Chrysler.
The 300 SRT is like Hulk wearing a tuxedo.
I just bought this car. Im in love with it
how is the car so far?
Hows it holding up

why in the hell dont we get the new version in the states?!?! oh well looks like ill have to find a 2012

Pete yeah it's pretty stupid they did that... I'm super pissed because I like the 300S but I would have loved to get an SRT version...
Perhaps sales in America were poor.

It's so weird seeing the steering wheel on the opposite side of the car lol
It’s on the right side, no pun intended
was this filmed at sand down ?
+Nic Nolan - yes it was. Well spotted!
How did you manage to get the track all to yourselves!
We know a guy ;)
Do you still recommend a SRT-8? im in the market for a 12-13 model what do you guys think?
It would of been nice if they had this version and this year in the U.S

Suttons at rosebery in sydney have a Core i test drove last month bloody awesome motor car .. i paid my deposit ...

Amazing car..I love the srt8 Chrysler
beautyful american muscle car
Not the only , In Saudi Arabia too , Mopar or Nocar Bro..
Lmao imagine going to raise the volume and starting to reverse on the road
Breaking Bad brought me here 👌🏻
Why does the car bounce so violently at 4:19 when engaging launch control?
Wheel spinning with the front brakes applied. The rear wants to move, but the front doesn't let it.
Is the engine supercharged?
I'm late, but no this is naturally aspirated (all motor)
Chrysler always the best v8s

It's the 300 SRT. It's only being made in right hand drive, except for the Middle East.
true. and also they've stopped making it in the U.S which is pretty sad to say goodbye to the newly refreshed 2015 Chrysler 300 SRT.
